Mini Sephora Haul

Hi! So, do you ever had those days when you feel that a little shopping therapy is all you need to set you straight....at least for awhile? Yeah, that was me today! I had a dentist appointment at 10am this morning and it went on an hour longer than I had expected, which sucked.  That's why I decided to head to the mall afterwards and treat myself to a little somethin'! I didn't purchase too much, but I thought it would be nice to share the new goodies I bought with my fellow Lovelies!

Influenster Spring 2012 Beauty VoxBox

Hello and Happy Spring to all of you! I've been purposefully taking a break from blogging for awhile now, which is why I was surprised when I was chosen to receive Influenster's Spring Beauty VoxBox! I must say, I'm loving the products in this VoxBox even more than the Holiday VoxBox I received late last year.  All of the products shown here were sent to be by Influenster to test out and review.  I am not being paid to review these products and any opinions are honest and my own.

China Glaze Caribbean Temptation

Hi there! This past week I've been wearing Caribbean Temptation by China Glaze on my nails and have been really loving it!  It's a bright cool pink polish with blue-ish shimmers in it.  It's slightly iridescent and applied sheer, so I had to do three coats to get my desired opacity.  I'm not sure if it's just me lately, but I also had a tough time working with the formulation - it was sorta runny in my opinion.  Either way, I'm liking the color and I think I might try it on my toes next!!! Review: Joico K-Pak Revitaluxe

Hi Lovelies! Today I'm coming at you with a review of Joico's K-Pak Revitaluxe Bio-Advanced Restorative Treatment (now that's a mouthful!).  I received this as a deluxe sample in my January Beauty Army Kit and have been using it once a week for the past month or so.  I've heard many good things about Joico products in the beauty community and was excited to try this out in a sample-size before investing in a full bottle.  If you'd like to hear more of my thoughts on this product, keep reading...

Jan/Feb 2012 Favorites

Hello! I know I'm a bit late on this post, but decided to do it anyway.  Honestly, I haven't been wearing or using a ton of new makeup the past couple of months, which is why I didn't do individual Favorites posts for January and February.  It just didn't seem worth devoting a whole post to one or two products each month.  That's why I decided to combine the first two months of the year - seems more appropriate. ;)

Hi Lovelies! Just the other day I was in the mood to paint my nails a pretty lilac color only to realize I didn't own any purple polishes! I couldn't believe it, really.  If you follow me on Twitter you already know that I tweeted for some recommendations to help with my lust for a lilac lacquer (hmm, say that three times real fast!) and I got some really good responses.  Essie polish was one of the first suggestions that I received and it's easily accessible (found at most drugstores) so I decided to head out and buy some.  If you want to see which polish I chose, keep reading....

Beauty Army Kit: February 2012

Hi! I realize that I had forgotten to write up a post for my Beauty Army Kit for February, so here it is!  I didn't actually pick out the samples for this kit because I forgot to log into my account and choose, but I'm actually really impressed with the samples the Beauty Army Team chose for me! It's amazing how many deluxe samples I have now.  I still have half of the samples from my January Kit to try out still. Collective Haul! January/February 2012

Hi there! I've been doing quite a bit of shopping lately but it has been for clothes mostly.  I'm on a quest to build up a solid wardrobe and though my focus has been on fashion the past couple of months, it hasn't stopped me from splurging on some beauty items along the way!  This collective haul is a mix of high-end and drugstore products.  Some products are tried and true while others are brand new to me.  I purchased the higher end products at Macy's and Sephora while my drugstore goodies are from Walgreens and Target.  Keep reading if you want to see up close photos of what I purchased.
